Happy New Year!

Wow, I can't believe that 2011 is almost over! Time flies when you are having fun! Oh and I have been having fun! 

Between working and traveling, I have barely had time to drink! Well except when I am traveling and when my BOSS lets me leave early. Then maybe, just maybe you can find me at the end of the bar at PH throwing a few back. Just a few… but who is counting anyway?

And how could I call this a job when I have such amazing customers and staff? I mean who wouldn’t like coming to work each day and dealing with 80 different personalities?

Ummm, yes on occasion we don't see eye to eye, but we ALL love each other! It’s always a blast when you get to spend your evenings at the bestsports bar in Fort Worth!

Thank God I am the boss and it is my way or the highway LOL! I can’t thank our loyal customers enough for making us your favorite place to eat, drink, watch the game and partyin West 7th.

Somehow I have survived all the incredible parties at the PH ... Fat Tuesday, Mardi Gras, St Patrick's Day and our 16th/2nd Anniversary. Good Lord, I have been doing this for 16, going on 17 years! That must mean I am doing something right. Oh and that The Pour House is just plain AWESOME! So awesome, in fact, that we are throwing one of the biggest New Year’s Eve Parties in Fort Worth. And that is exactly where you should be to ring in the New Year!

So where will you be spending New Year’s Eve this year?

I know where I will be ... The Pour House and The Garage. And that is where you should spend the final night of 2011!

Come ring in the new year with your FAVORITE bar owner! Bring your friends along and have a good time with us because we will have live music and a DJ, and flowing bottles of champagne.

It will be one for the books!

WOW, things are HOPPING at the Pour House

We just keep making things better.  Our new slogan is: "The Pour House: Making THE BEST BETTER since 1995!"

We are adding festoon lighting on the patio, we are expanding the patios (Yes I said Patios) in The Garage. Also we are opening up VIP in The Garage and adding cocktail tables so you will not miss any of the crazy dance moves.

Check out the FW Weekly this week ...we have a very cool ad. It's introducing our new SEASONAL DRAFT campaign. YES, The Pour House WILL have draft beer starting this weekend!
Our 3 drafts beers of choice (They will change monthly) are:

We are VERY excited about our new drafts and all the changes we have made!

The All New Pour House and The Garage at PH!

Hey Hey Hey ...

WOW, there are so many AMAZING things going on at The Pour House and The Garage. This weekend is our Back to School Bash ... Fri -Sun we have some great bands on The PH stage and some awesome DJ's spinning in The Garage.

We are also finishing up a Super Duper face lift as well.

In the PH, we have added 50 inch plasmas and a 100 inch Big Screen.

We have also done some re-arranging. We moved the stage to a new location and made it bigger and better. We have also added some very fancy booths for your band viewing pleasure! In addition the pool tables have moved to a new location.  I think it looks AWESOME if I do say so myself. There is not a bad seat in the "house".

And if that were not enough, we have a new Brunch Menu that we are rolling out this weekend.
It includes such incredible items as Frosted Flake French Toast with caramelized bananas and whipped chocolate cream. We are also adding a "Build your own Omelet" Bar. MMMmmmm.

Oh, AND we have new daily drink specials that will feature 1/2 priced appetizers Monday-Friday from 4-7pm.

Last but not least (And maybe the BEST thing for some of you) we are adding Seasonal DRAFT Beer!

When I want something done, I GET IT DONE!

I remember before we opened people would come into our construction site and say "There is NO WAY you will be ready to open on October 31st". 

I just had to assure them that we would and to leave the worrying up to me. Right up to a week out, people kept saying "By Oct 31st, REALLY? No way." 

Well I am sure you know how the story goes ... I opened on Oct 30th! 1 Day early! So stick that in your pipe and smoke it! :-D

Now we are moving along again to get all our changes done by our BIG Labor Day - Back to School party.

Here is a little update:

• Old stage was demo'd yesterday and NEW Stage is being built today.

• Most of my new TV's are already up.

• DJ Booth is DONE. And it is AWESOME If I do say so myself.

• New Booths are ordered.

• Pool tables are being moved to our new "gaming area" today.

• Elevated seating in The Garage is done!

• New Brunch menu has been sent to the printer!

• Seasonal Draft Beers

• And the new expanded bar in The Garage is planned and ready to be under construction.

So keep coming by The Pour House and The Garage to see the awesome changes we are making. This is y'alls Pour House just as much as it is mine so please come and enjoy "YOUR HOUSE"

Big Changes at the PH & The Garage!

The New DJ Booth in The Garage!!!

Well, here we are again!

It's football season, It's back to school time. It's fall (cooler weather) and it's time to throw a party! And a party we will have. I am not sure if you have noticed yet, but we are making some awesome changes here at The PH ... and they are happening gradually. BUT they will be (for the most part) done in time for our "Come check out our Changes - Back to School - Labor Day WEEKEND BASH!"

The changes you ask? How much time do you have?

We have a new AWESOME brunch menu which will include a Omelet Station and Frosted Flake French Toast with Caramelized Bananas and Whipped Chocolate. We have several new 50 inch Plasma TVs and another 100 inch big screen on its way.

After this weekend, the stage will be ripped out and rebuilt bigger and better in a new location.

The Pool tables will also move to a new location.

Any changes in the garage you ask? YES. Our seating around the dance floor will now be elevated.

We have a NEW KILLER DJ booth. It is actually a front end clip of a 76' Cadillac Eldorado!!!

And if that is not enough, we are expanding the Garage Bar!

Oh and a new lounge area on the patio is also coming soon!

Whew, I am worn out from all these changes! But when you are the best you have to keep it fresh and exciting to keep ahead of the competition. Ha ha, I said competition ... what is that?

In the beginning...

Hmmmm, my very first blog. What the HELL do I say?

Let me start by welcoming everyone, including myself, to the Pour House Fort Worth Blog!

In the coming weeks, I am going to try and keep you up to date on PH happenings, goings ons and upcoming events. And maybe I'll even try some comedy to keep you entertained.

So, ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL? Looks like Jerry and the Boys are going to get this F-ing lockout figured out and we are gonna have us a season. And to help with your viewing pleasure, the PH is yet AGAIN adding some TV's. We will at the very least be adding a BIG SCREEN and some more 50 inch plasmas.

We are doing several changes here at the PH, but you will just have to wait for future blogs to find out what they are. One hint ... DJ Booth! And it is going to be THE BOMB!!
